Real Life has reduced my brain to green mush.
I am not producing fic because ![[info]](http://l-stat.livejournal.com/img/community.gif) agentsands responds to all my needs. :P Also, mainly because of school, I am only able to write in French at the moment. I'd post French Harry Potter fic, but then I'd have to modify the names which are terrible. Anyway, am rambling on. Will post something, even if it's a Québécois fandom that doesn't exist online.

The wonderful webcrowmancer and her wonderful fics have forever cowed me from writing Norrington/Jack again. LOL. I love this fandom, really I do.
Finally got around to reading the infamous GQ article on Johnny Depp, which pretty much solved the Chest Tattoo Glimpse Mystery: it's his daughter's name over his heart. How distressingly sweet. Does Eminem have Hailie's name tattooed anywhere? ^^;;

I wish I could be like these people who write quality fics for 8 different fandoms at a time and are always inspired. Unfortunately, something has to have taken over my mind and all trains of thought not related to eating or sleeping to get me to produce anything worthwhile.
Thankfully I am easily obsessed. But I usually get obsessive to such an embarrassing degree that I'm worried about talking to my best friends for fear of mentioning said obsession in every sentence and exasperating them. T_T

For Some Reason, I keep seeing people riding the bus, and sitting on public benches in parks etc. who are reading Prisoner of Azkaban. Is it out of grief or in preparation for the upcoming film (though one year does seem a bit long for that)?
Personally, I won't reread PoA again before its release in theatres, because I do not want to be terribly disappointed (foreshadowed by massive despair that is overwhelming the community thanks to a few innocent screenshots of Cuaron's movie). Not that I expected Sirius to be exactly as I pictured him, or Remus; I knew it was impossible ever since the first movie, when they showed James and Lily in the Mirror of Erised, not at all as I imagined them. They look, for one, ten years older than they should be according to the books. (But they *could* have tried to cast someone who looked young for their age... at least for Sirius. T_T) I don't know why they deemed this necessary, after all the effort to make the films as similar to the books as possible. It has become a desperate situation now, because Sirius and Remus are so popular and PoA is also one of the most popular books of the five.
Well, Pirates is my new fandom now. Not that I have the highest hopes for the sequel. ^^;;

Why must I begin writing fanfic for such a difficult character? Why? Why? Why? It is absurdly hard to write someone who is supposed to be mad but brilliant, camp, yet dashingly charming and cool at the same time.
Funny, I always thought that if I began writing fanfic, it would be Harry/Draco.
And it's even funnier considering that technically, I've only taken up writing fanfic to sharpen my skills in English class, because I'm usually very slow and get blocked easily in the middle of a plotline.
